Rainbow Veins: Cool Places In Ipoh

Went to El Negra Distro for the first time last night with my babes.

It's a Malay owned restaurant ! So of course it's halal. That's the most important thing.

Just a few minutes away from Khizanat. It's on the first floor, above Syarikat Cermin Mata United. And on the way up, the wall is covered with beautiful murals. The owner (i think) greeted us so warmly when we stepped inside.

There are plenty of drinks on the menu to choose from but only few main course. Spaghetti, roasted chicken and roasted lamb shoulder. Oh and also dessert. They have sandwiches too. And i don't like the idea of having to strain my neck looking up at the menu board. Seriously.

I ordered roasted lamb shoulder (MYR 18) and pure chocolate frappe (MYR 10). You have to straight away pay for them at the counter after you ordered it. The portion of the roasted lamb is quite small though and the pure chocolate frappe tastes the same like any other typical chocolate drink (You can get them at Thumb's Cafe for RM 2.50 !) So yeah, Thumbs will still be my favorite place to chill.

The decor is so fresh and neat and simple yet so beautiful. So Nora bagi 8 bintangggggg ! No, my name is not Nora. Just imitating Nora Danish in Maharaja Lawak Mega. K.

Would love to come again, of course (but not too often) or else i'll be broke :(
