We have been away from Ipoh for 37 days
(18 Apr - 25 May) for our semester break. Yup, just one month compared to other
colleges/universities. One of the sacrifices you have to make.
Bertimbun bil and surat amaran depan
pintu, elektrik kena potong, modem rosak. Paid the bills on Sunday but even
until Tuesday, there was no sign of any technician coming to do whatever they
have to do. I even had to go to Jannah's to get my phone charged. Urgh
Tried to call TNB again that day (Tuesday) and they
said that we'll have the power supply back in between 1730H to 2230H. So we had
dinner outside and planned things to do while waiting for the clock to strike
10. Suggestions after suggestions... Movie, bowling, karaoke and then someone
somehow came up with the most brilliant idea; ETS (Ipoh railway station).
I have always loved the view :) How the
water fountains somehow dance to the music, the colorful lights, the crowd. If you like people-watching, you
definitely should come here!
When someone mentions Setia City Mall, the
first thing that pops up in our mind mesti bubble besar-besar kan? Well guess
what, dekat ETS Ipoh pun ada! Tak tau sejak bila trending benda ni, tapi
sebagai akak hipster yang mengikuti arus kehipsteran, mana boleh ketinggalan
kan. Dekat Taman Polo dah lama ada, tapi macam crowded sikit sebab tempat agak
kecik dengan orang jogging, dengan abang-abang acah bar work out, akak-akak
makan cendol so I lagi prefer main dekat ETS.
I taktau what to call the thing that looks
like spongebob's jellyfish net, so I’ll just call it ‘batang’. But since I tau
sekarang dah tak ada orang yang berfikiran suci macam I, kita tukar to ‘kayu’
okeh.
Kayu ni ada banyak size. From
small to large and even to thousand. Price varies depending on the size and
type. Murah je no worries :) I took the large one for MYR4 including semangkuk
sabun. Siapalah buih tanpa sabun kan. Semangkuk sabun tu banyak jugak
sebenarnya, kalau nak tanya exact volume tu memang tak boleh la nak jawab. Tapi
in case tertumpah ke ((biasalah seronok lari-lari kejar buih tak ingat umur
berapa sampai tersepak mangkuk)) boleh refill for MYR1.50.
Kalau tak reti main
tak apa. Penjual tu akan tanya “Awak pernah main ke idok? Kalau tak pernah main
meh saya tunjukkan cara main.” Tak ada tempoh masa, tak ada expiry date, main
la berapa lama pun, refill la berapa ratus kali pun.
Ada banyak lagi benda boleh buat
dekat situ selain dari main bubble. Ada rollerblade, scooter, basikal,
boomerang macam macam! Semua benda pun ada lampu lip lap lip lap soo meriah.
Mun and Ezza main rollerblade, MYR5 per hour kalau tak salah. Kalau tak pandai
main, asyik jatuh pun tak apa, sebab kiri kanan track ada rumput, bukan fully
simen.
We had so much fun! Dah lama tak
seronok macam tu. Even parents pun main sekali, mengalahkan anak-anak hahaha. I want to upload the videos of the bubbles but the internet connection here is still not fixed and I don't wanna use all my data so I guess i'll update this post later aite?
